Ingredients :
24 large tortilla chips
½ cup mashed black beans (frijoles refritos)
½ cup chilli
115 g American cheese, diced
¼ cup salsa sauce
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
¼ cup sliced black olives
½ small red onion, chopped
1 large plum tomato, chopped
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
Juice of ½ lime
½ tsp salt
Guacamole, for serving
Sour cream, for serving
1 jalapeño pepper, sliced, for serving
Preparation: 1. Melt the cheese cubes with the chilli in the microwave.
2. Cover the grid with parchment paper.
3. Place 12 tortilla chips on a rack lined with baking paper.
4. Spread a spoonful of beans over the chips.
5. Spread half the chilli, salsa sauce, grated cheddar, olives and
cilantro on the chips.
6. Spread the remaining chips on the rack.
7. Spread the rest of the pepper, salsa, grated cheddar cheese, olives and cilantro over
French fries.
8. Press the “French Fries” button. Set the timer for 12 minutes to
start cooking.
9. In a small bowl, combine the red onion, tomatoes, lime juice and salt and
spoon the mixture over the nachos when ready.
10. Serve with guacamole, sour cream and jalapeño peppers.
